It felt surreal flying into the Salt Lake City Airport for the Utah Dancesport Challenge, as the last competition I judged was the US Amateur Nationals in March 2020 in the midst of all the chaos brought by the pandemic.
This past weekend at the Texas Challenge, in Houston Texas, we had tremendous fun and it was fantastic to be back at one of North America’s most iconic competitions and to see some terrific dancing in many of the styles and categories.
