As an adjudicator there are no standards set for you other than the ones you set for yourself. A while ago I was invited to judge a competition in London and the Chairman of Adjudicators at the judges’ meeting reminded us “to judge without fear or favor and without taking previous results into consideration.” Since that day, that has been the standard to which I hold myself.
